  9. TCPack Presentation :

  11. Developed by ASC,  TCPack is a Connection Tool designed to allow simultaneous TCP/IP connections using Apple’s MacTCP driver and the standard access interfaces of the Communication Toolbox.

  13. TCPack can be used both for terminal-emulation and peer-to-peer connections:
  14.   - for terminal-emulation purposes, TCPack supports the Telnet protocol and
  15.     includes a background FTP server to transfer files between your Macintosh
  16.     and the host you are connected to.
  17.   - for peer-to-peer connections, developers have access to the IP Header
  18.     parameters through the Scripting Interface. A technical documentation
  19.     is available on request.

  21. TCPack is compatible with MacTCP 2.0.2, System 7.x compliant and supports balloon help.

  29. • Macintosh System Software 6.0.4 or later.

  31. • A Communications Toolbox compliant application like 5PM Term (our own powerful
  32.    terminal emulation application).
  33. • MacTCP v. 1.0.1 or later, the Apple TCP/IP driver for the Macintosh.
